What's the point?

I'm fighting with my other half.
In fact, it's got to the point where it's looking like it may be over very soon.
When you get to that point, you have to ask yourself why you even bother trying anymore? I mean, for god sakes!!! Why can't I just be like normal people and find someone. I'm not perfect - they don't have to be perfect either, just as long as I don't want to smother them with a pillow - I'll be satisfied with that.

Oh well.

Think I might give celibacy ago.
You can stop laughing now.

MP,
I'm a bit worried about your lack of output recently, especially as your last entry read like a season-finale of Home & About to be Dead. As an avid reader, I thought I'd share this with you. What's the haps, MP?

I know MP personally, so here's part of the answer.
She's found Buddhism recently, and is experimenting with a minimalist approach to life. Her computer's gone, but she occaisionally uses the one at the library to research vegan recipes. I'm trying to convince her that this blog will not interfere with her path to enlightment. Once done, she'll come back into the fold. I'll pass on your concern, though. Maybe it will help.
